This is step by step, how to install MetaTrader 5 Indicators. Once you get .mq5 or .ex5 files of the indicator you need to place indicator in the right place before usage. Follow step by step how to installation.
Step 1. Make sure you have download your .mq5 or .ex5 files of the indicator.
Step 2. Go to your MetaTrader platform’s folder (usually, it’s installed C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 5).
Step 3. Enter the MQL5 folder:
Step 4. Enter Indicator Folder:
Step 5. Now create folder for indicator and place indicator in it, or just paste indicator in Indicators folder:
Step 6. If you had .ex5 file (compiled indicator) skip this step! If you had .mq5, You need to restart your MetaTrader platform for automatic compilation.
Step 7. Turn on MetaTrader 5 platform, double click on indicator to add it on chart, or grab indicator and drop it on chart. Example ParabolicSAR.
Step 8. Enjoy

hi i just downloaded your meta 5 platform .when i tried to install it.it asked for a pass word and username and server name,which unfortunately i dont have .
please is there a special proccedure to follow to be able to use the platform?please let me know.
i also noticed there are some special indicators for the platform to be downloaded and installed on it.how do i take advantage of it?

You can download only MT5 beta ver. If you wish to create demo account find MetaQuotes-Demo in Navigator (left side) in MT5 beta platform, then right click, click on “open an account”….

Hi
Did copy and past indicator as shown above but it will never show up on platform. DLL import is on- restarted platform and tried dozen times.
Did exact what I did a hundred times on MT4 but it never works on MT5.
Tried different indicators but no success.
